What is the Ledger live® App?
Ledger live® is the official application by Ledger that connects with a Ledger hardware wallet to manage crypto assets. Available for desktop and mobile, it keeps private keys on-device while providing portfolio tracking, transaction signing, and access to integrated exchange partners (Ledger live® Exchange).
How to download & perform Ledger live® Login
- Visit the official Ledger download page: ledger.com/ledger-live/download.
- Select your OS (Windows/macOS/Linux) or mobile store and install the app.
- Connect your Ledger hardware (USB or Bluetooth), unlock it, then open Ledger live® and approve device prompts to complete Ledger live® Login.

Common troubleshooting — Login & connection issues
- Ledger live® Login not working: Restart the app and device, try a different USB cable/port, and ensure you have the latest firmware.
- Unable to login / Error connecting Ledger live® account: Disable conflicting antivirus/VPN, reinstall Ledger live®, or use the desktop app instead of web connectors.
- Ledger live® App not working or error decline: Clear app cache, update the app, and check partner status for exchange-related declines.
- Can't verify Ledger live®: Confirm addresses and transaction amounts directly on the Ledger device screen before approving.
Account recovery & 2FA notes
To recover funds if you lose a device, use your recovery phrase in Ledger live®'s restore flow. Ledger never stores recovery phrases. For exchange 2FA reset (Ledger live® 2fa reset), contact the exchange — Ledger live® does not control third-party 2FA systems.
